It has been several years since I have had the Tuesday night prime rib. Excellent as always, done rare just the way I like it. A lot of food for the price, baked potato, vegetables, yummy rolls, and an excellent salad. Terrific meal.

Hadn't been here in years but good was excellent as we remembered. Nachos were very good. Prices have crept up a bit but not excessive. 3 drinks, 2 apps. and two dinner $84 plus top. Very diverse menu from burgers to Mexican to lobster ravioli.

A much more extensive menu than I was expecting. The food was great as well as the drinks. We are staying at crystal springs and couldn’t get a reservation at dinner so we came here. What a pleasant surprise. Much better than anything we would have eaten at the resort. Service was a little slow, but luckily we were in no rush. We are going back for the second night as well, I’m all for better tasting food at a great price.

I am new to the area and I have been trying different restaurants. I absolutely love this place! You won't be disappointed in the food or service. I usually have the filet mignon which is so tasty and tender. The salads are always fresh. My husband had the eggplant parm tonight which was delicious! They actually have a 10% senior discount between 3 and 5:30 pm during the week!

A Vernon Valley staple. I have been going for over 10 years, and it is a great stop after a long ski day.

Good food, great service

First time here and pleasantly surprised. Nice atmosphere. Great food. Got crab cakes made out of real crab... Not 50%+ bread crumbs. Chicken was awesome. My wife almost ate the whole plate which is super rare. Drinks at the bar were also on point. They do clearly state you have to be wearing a shirt and shoes, so don't show up in just a thong.

Went here for a late Father's day dinner with my family. Easy to spot from the road. Ample parking. I had NY Strip and creamy Cajun shrimp with salad and baked potato. Steak was cooked exactly as I ordered was juicy with enough fat to save for my dog. The shrimp was like a drug. I had to refrain from licking the remainder of the sauce from the dish. My wife had ribs which were very good and fall off the bone. Wait staff was very sweet and attentive. Will be back!

Always a great meal. I try to eat at the George Inn whenever I'm in Vernon. Favorite meals- Prime Rib, Greek pasta with chicken, chicken souvlaki, eggplant rollentini, any of the burgers, white out pizza, pretty much everything. They have a room that is great for private events and the food is always a hit.

Place looks nice but food was very underwhelming. My chicken fajitas came out cold. I sent it back and it returned to me so quickly there is zero doubt that it was microwaved. We will not be returning.

My wife and I love to get the buffalo wings, they are phenomenal. Great place for food and beer.

Visiting the area we stopped in because it had good reviews. Our party of seven was seated quickly and our waiter was very nice. That's probably the end of the positive. The food was not good and slightly cold. One meal was held up in the kitchen for about 10 minutes. I understand slow service if it's busy, but there were only five tables seated and multiple servers. The drinks were slow to arrive at the table and to get someone to bring a refill was near impossible (despite asking 3-4 times). The chicken picatta had a weird gravy over it and was not lemony, the quesadillas came out cold, and the pizza doesn't use pizza sauce it's some kind of marinara. Its possible it was just a bad night but when there are other restaurants in the area, I would check those out first.

Went here after ziplining. Food was super good and enjoyable. It was such a fun day!

Mediocre food and mediocre drinks. That’s not the worst of it— My friend and I came on a particularly windy day. While this normally wouldn’t be an issue, the sun umbrella was not secured to the table! It flew off and fell on both of us— hard. Normally, venues offer a concession or price reduction for such an inconvenience. We didn’t ask, they didn’t offer. After we finished paying the bill, we attempted to talk with the staff about the safety hazard. The waitress said it wasn’t her job. The manager told us to either call the cops or the ambulance— apparently it’s not his job either? Honestly, I’ve never had such an awful experience. The disregard for customer safety is appalling. I would not trust them with my safety or my food, especially during covid.

Nice place, good food, good bar & decent prices for packaged goods.

The George In has been around for as long as I have! Definitely a landmark place in Vernon/McAfee. The food is good and so is the bar. There's packaged goods to take out as well, however, the service in the bar area takes FOREVER! we've waited for our food for over an hour before! If the wait wasn't so long I'd go more often and The George Inn would get a five star rating.

Nice atmosphere, good food and service

The food here is top notch and reasonably priced. They have an extensive selection of beer and wine. I had kind of a weird time here because of other customers but it's not the restaurant's fault, just try not to get a booth because they're next to the bar and sometimes bar patrons can get loud and inappropriate. Apart from that, great experience would recommend

I don't know, I wasn't there

I had a doordash problem, but no help from this restaurant. I'm their neighbor and they expect me to pay $60 for a sandwich rather than try to contact doordash or come up with a reasonable price knowing they are asking me to pay for the second time.Also the person I spoke with went on a racist tangent about doordash and Indians, that I didnt really think was appropriate or constructive in any way.

The owners are very friendly and take care of the place very well.

This restaurant is my favored. I eat in plenty of restaurants but here I constantly return again and again. The stuff is very attentive and the cooking they serve is so good. I never miss an opportunity to have a good meal in this restaurant. I recommend this place with pleasure.

Extremely disappointed in the George Inn. We have had an event scheduled for months at the George Inn and one week prior to the event, when we went to go pay the final deposit, we were told that they can no longer carry out the event, even though we had called to confirm it a week prior and they confirmed with us that the event would take place. No phone call, no awareness that this would happen, nothing. Thanks for nothing.

This is a Beautiful restaurant that has been here for a very long time. It was renovated to the beautiful place it is today and the food is very good. There is also a liquor store inside and you can play your lotto. The staff are very nice.

I LOVE this place. The food is some of best typical American bar food I’ve had in any part of N.J. and most of the east. The menu is huge, featuring both classic Mexican and Mediterranean items. They have an awesome craft beer selection (unfortunately, limited on good wine). The staff is very friendly, although it seems they can be understaffed at times, which can make perfect service difficult. Skip the restaurants at the nearby resorts and go here.

Well prepared food. Our prime ribs where cooked perfectly. Our meals were served in a timely manner and our waitstaff were patient, pleasant and very attentive without hovering. The final bill was surprisingly reasonable. Try it, you'll like it!

Got there right when they opened for breakfast on a weekday - we were the only patrons. While it's clearly a bar, the breakfast was tasty, the price was right and the staff were all friendly. Would go here especially if you're looking for a good breakfast when visiting Crystal Springs Resort - it's located right between the two locations.

The restaurant is beautiful, the area it is in is beautiful, and the food is always delicious. My girlfriend and I had a lovely meal here. I would definitely recommend coming up for dinner at some point.

Horrible experience from beginning to end. Burnt food. Poorly made drink. Undercooked food. Rude Owner when I brought concerns to his attention. Save yourself time and go somewhere else.

Really big menu and the food was very good. Draft selection was limited due to Covid 19 but they had some nice IPAs in bottles so that was cool. Service was really friendly but really slow. However, it's COVID right now so we have to excuse that. Outdoor seating is fine but near the road which is loud. It'll be nice to go inside again! Overall, a really nice dining experience and we'll be back. Also, Ice Cream place down the road is a nice bonus...

How do you tell someone that their event is still scheduled and is going to happen and then when you come in to make the final payment you tell them that nope sorry it's cancelled no notification prior nothing. Very shameful how they conduct business.Would it rated zero Stars if able thanks for nothing

Large dining area. Food is delicious. Large portions. Right priced entrees. Chicken cordon Bleu & steaks are my favorite. Recently did take out & was very pleased with the size of the dinners. They don't skimp on take out. Just as much as if you were dining in. A favorite restaurant.
